It is a series of nine books and when I share these ideas, they are taken from the books. You'd love them if you enjoy these posts! Check your library. The first book is called At Home in Mitford.

Enjoy!Monica Wilkinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17235919587298518908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13617895.post-80983396626650716342008-04-08T21:29:00.000-04:002008-04-08T21:29:00.000-04:00I think the moms at CBC do a great job of this. By the way, what is "Mitford"? I see you often do those Mitford Moments. Where does that come from? I love your blog! When tornados sweep through the Amish community pulled together and started cleaning up and rebuilding while the rest of the area waited for their insurance company. How comforting it would be to know no matter what your community would be there for you!Wendihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02547001714523524390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13617895.post-50643968610670233802008-04-08T08:12:00.000-04:002008-04-08T08:12:00.000-04:00I never even knew about Mitford until reading your...I never even knew about Mitford until reading your blog.... and at Christmas I got the entire series as a gift and have read all 9:)

They are so fun!Barbie @ Mamaologyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11106929271346137677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13617895.post-8449312759416187102008-04-08T08:09:00.000-04:002008-04-08T08:09:00.000-04:00Ah, Mitford! I think that is one thing I miss from what life was like when I was a child.... people took the time to do simple things for others that showed simple love, joy, kindness, respect. Now life is so fast that we find so little time to look beyond the many things we need to get done to survive! It really doesn't take much to make a difference.

Last year I was having a BAD day. I was undergoing some serious medical testing and my car broke down on me on the same day. My neighbor reached out with a CHOCOLATE cake and a kind word! I will remember that forever... it was a bright spot in my TERRIBLE day!

Thanks for the reminder to reach out with SIMPLE things... they don't take a lot of time, but they really make a difference!
HeatherMore than Survivalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07391332999979380361noreply@blogger.com
