Frugal, practical, effective, and...well, romantic, in a weird husband-gift sort of way. :)Christy of The Travel Bagshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18440997720955002354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13617895.post-38887981748578749382010-10-01T10:38:38.857-04:002010-10-01T10:38:38.857-04:00Great Idea..good for starters and inexpensive..Great Idea..good for starters and inexpensive..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13617895.post-89155184235715736862010-10-01T10:32:29.130-04:002010-10-01T10:32:29.130-04:00Our compost bin was made from old pallets. The lid is also a pallet, but he never got around to adding hinges to it. Otherwise it will become quite soggy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13617895.post-86993102919309994652010-10-01T07:36:58.005-04:002010-10-01T07:36:58.005-04:00That is great idea, but with our Texas it is would...That is great idea, but with our Texas it is wouldn't last long. We have been composting for a few years now. My husband actually made a bin out of chicken wire and mesh. With the top open of course to rotate the compost. He is in the process of making one out of a big tin barrel(drum)he found on Craigslist for next to nothing. Just another few thoughts for you.Tashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17054658108560099003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13617895.post-73496689256159506842010-10-01T06:33:16.604-04:002010-10-01T06:33:16.604-04:00Thank you for the awesome idea!
