It has been years since I've been to Colorado in the Fall and I was hoping to see some yellow aspen leaves! We thought of the closest place we could possibly see some and planned our outing carefully to fit with other needs of the day.
Even just the drive was lovely! Beautiful scenery, clear mountain air, a bit on the chilly side - just right for enjoying the Fall feels.
