During my Thanksgiving Day nature walk to collect goodies for the table, I found this scrap of wood. I hoped to make a sign out of it that day but could not find anything to write/draw/paint on it with so I just held on to it.
I pulled it out yesterday while wanting to create a gift for a friend. Again, I did not really have a plan when I started - but just pulled out a few scrappy bits of things I'd brought with me. I had a few fabric scraps left, twine, two clothespin chalkboards and the cute brown paper tag is from my swap box.
I love how it turned out and that it was just pulled together from bits and pieces for f-r-e-e! Hope it is a blessing to a friend as well!
