Oh, how I enjoy a slow day! I had to smile when I saw the picture of the clothes pins. It is nice to know I am not the only one that sees beauty in that and snaps a picture. :)

Enjoy your day!

As long as you blog, sharing the slow and beautiful days of your life.... I will never lack for ideas, inspiration and encouragement to live out being a beautiful mom! I love the picture of you right in the middle of these, for you are the center of these lives in that home. I pray to be that as well for mine here in this one. Thank you for sharing the slow Monica and the work behind it is worth all the effort! The diligent hands bring profit! Joy in the slow' Angelia in Texas

I adore the picture with your bible open at the table with the children... especially love that it is well-loved and has been written in!!
Out of curiosity - what translation is it? Is it a study bible?

Blessings

Hi Trace,

Thanks for your sweet comment! :) It is the NIV Life Application Bible. I got it for my High School Graduation (( cough )) almost 20 years ago! Anyway, I'd probably prefer a NASB translation now, but I don't want to give up all the years of notes and thoughts and such!

Blessings,
Monica

Monica- I was gifted with the NLT Life Application Bible years ago and I feel the same way about it... it has gotten me through many a tough situation (and many joyous ones too) and I have so many notations and highlighted sections that it will always remain a beloved bible to me... even though I purchased myself an ESV study bible recently

Many blessings to you and your family. I've been visiting your blog for a few years now and it has been a never ending source of inspiration to me - a true blessing.
