Beauty: On the Side of the Interstate

As I've gotten more enjoyment from taking photos - I find myself going through life with sort of a viewfinder for my lens on viewing life. I noticed this especially on our road trip first day. I wanted to stop all kinds of places for a pretty photo - but when you have 13 hours to go on that single day, we chose not to. However, after looking at so much beauty on the side of the road for hours - I simply had to have some pictures of the Queen Anne's Lace growing wild all across Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois. Just before our stopping place for the night - the sun was right and beauty was captured!

These are beautiful. Queen Anne's lace is one of my favorite flowers.

You have inspired me to pick my camera back up. I have let things going on here get me away from my love of finding beauty and enjoying beauty. Holding onto frozen frames of moments past that we can not get back. Enjoy your road trip Monica. May it be captured in your viewfinder. Angelia in Tx

Queen Anne's lace is just beautiful. When I was a child, we didn't have many flowers but we would pick them and put them in food color to tint them. I wonder if that still works.

I was in a wedding many years ago in which the bouquets were made up of wildflowers. I remember the Queen Anne's lace among the lilies and daisies.
Glad you found snippets of beauty along many miles of highway travel.
