Frequently when I'm reflecting and soul searching, it is normal for me to look at my weaknesses and then someone will come to mind who appears to have things much more together than me and I will start down that road of comparing.
Comparing is a dangerous road to travel down.
Galatians 6:4-5, "Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, for each one should carry his own load."
This is something that blogging can do to us - show us parts of others lives and who we may think they are, then we may compare or wish we were more like them.
But, it's important to remember that when God looks at me - He is not comparing me with His other creations. He knows me intimately and more truly than any other. When He looks at me - He not only sees me for me, but since I am His child - He sees His Son living in me.
When I struggle to see myself the way He does, when I think too much about how others see me - oh, I can remember He truly and deeply sees.
