Giveaway: No Place Like Holmes

I have several giveaways today courtesy of Tommy Nelson!

The first one is this book No Place Like Holmes.

Christian values are presented as part of a fun, action packed mystery.
Not only is Sherlock Holmes a name people know, but it will be a big theme this year with the release of the Sherlock Holmes sequel in movie theaters.
Perfect for boys ages 9-12 or any children who love a good mystery!

View flip book preview here.

Two winners will be chosen for this one!
To enter, please leave a comment on this post telling the folks at Tommy Nelson what kind of mystery your kids would love to solve!

Entries accepted until Sunday May 29, 2011 at 10pm EST.

Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book for review purposes. But, I'm offering it up to one of you in addition to one copy provided by Tommy Nelson to one winner.

I do think my kids wish their last name was Alden and the had a grandfather who took them on far-away adventures every week. But since they've never even been inside a boxcar and certainly have never met an Alden, they are stuck solving mysteries in our backyard!

My oldest loves mysteries - from
Nancy Drew to homemade mysteries she and her brother create and act out. I would LOVE to see more Christian-based mysteries.

I was just at the library yesterday, groping for new things for my 7 & 9 year old boys to read that match our values. Would love this!

This book looks wonderful for my 9 year old. He's just discovered mysteries. His favorites so far seem to ones with treasure, but also with very strong good vs evil themes.

Hmmm...they like historical fiction. My son read a series of books where a boy got transported back in time to meet famous baseball players and to try to persuade them to make the right choice.

My daughter loves the Nancy Drew movie, and enjoys mysteries that aren't too scary :)

She would love an outdoor mystery, like one that takes place near the ocean or in a cave.

My girls love all sorts of mysteries. Right, they would probably like to solve a mystery about mysterious girls that are lost princesses.

My nine year old son does really enjoy reading mysteries- I wonder what he would like to solve? Maybe one about a lost pet or something like that.
