I'm back from the conference! It was a great time away. I was a bit overwhelmed at times, but overall it was very worthwhile to go and I definitely learned some things! It was super fun to meet a couple of you!! (Thank you, J and M for introducing yourselves!)

Since curriculum has been on my brain for the past few months, I'll be sharing some of what we are planning to do next year in the days ahead.

Today, I'm just feeling out of my usual groove. I have a lot to do, but less than the normal motivation to get it done. It's been a while since I planned something fun and special for my family and I am getting the itch to create some beauty around me.

I'm thinking of a fun breakfast for tomorrow morning involving a quilt, something homemade, white tulips in a vintage canning jar, being outside, etc...

Anything new with you?

I went to my first homeschooling conference last summer, and yes, it was quite overwhelming and took a while to think through. Knowing that now though, I'm really looking forward to next years, since I'll know what to expect!
I think your breakfast sounds lovely, have fun!

Are we just dreamy romantics? Your breakfast plan sounds wonderful. I find myself wondering about people who don't use words like comfy and vintage when describing a meal. What do they think about us?

Your breakfast plans sound beautiful. . . especially since I woke up to three inches of heavy, wet snow this morning. It looks very pretty, but it is definitely not seasonal here.

What a wonderful idea. My little one has spent a few days with grandpa on the farm. We are on spring break. Can't wait for her to get home and do some crafts and home things with her.

I know just wht you mean about being a bit overwhelmed! I'm trying to get going on planning for next year and my head is swimming - and I'm *not* going to a conference:) I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on curriculum.
Breakfast sounds lovely!

You were the first blogger I've met in "real life", and I was so excited to meet you! :) Thank you for the daily encouragement. Your humility and love for the Lord and your family is SO refreshing.

This was our first conference, and we were a little overwhelmed as well. I learned so much, though, and was left with tons of motivation and inspiration!

Welcome home... so glad you had an worthwhile trip.

You've given me inspiration for a little breakfast or brunch. Perhaps I'll cut some of the fragrant lilacs blooming outside my kitchen and add them to a milk bottle, just so I won't be totally copying you!!!
