Family

What a sweet time we had with so many family members over Christmas! We had scheduled to have our pictures all taken together with a friend photographer, but at the last minute - that did not work out. We were all dressed and ready to go when we found out - so we just went outside and took pictures ourselves! Hooray for my friend, Angie, who was our last minute whole group photographer!! Here are my favorites ~ we were so pleased with how these turned out!

Tell me about a special memory you created this Christmas!

they all turned out so wonderful!! such a beautiful family...our most special memory was Christmas Eve. Our Candlelight Service at church was cancelled due to the weather, so Christopher suggested we have our own at home! We enjoyed 2 piano solos and singing, and reading the Christmas story by candlelight before little ones went to bed...it was just precious!

These great photos tell the stories of the memories we made this Christmas -- it was all about the people and the place! Our precious family in the beautiful Colorado mountains. Thanks for coming (and thanks for pitching in to take pictures at the last minute)! Love you, Mom

Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos, Monica! I am so glad you all had such a nice time together.

My special memory caught me quite by surprise. The Saturday before Christmas I walked in the door, with my dh and kids behind me, and as I bent down to put my bag down, I heard a very masculine "Merry Christmas Sis! And it was my baby brother and his family!! They had drived all the way from Ontario non stop to spend 12 days over the holidays with us! It was wonderful in every way, I had not seen him in over a year and a half..it was a wonderful time! And my sneaky family had known about it for a month!! This was one of the best Christmases I have ever had, one I will always cherish.

Blessings for a Happy New Year!!

Merry Christmas and beautiful pictures.

We were hundreds of miles away from home this Christmas, with a sick child, and working husband. So it ended up being several days of my two young boys and I curled up on the couch watching Christmas movies and reading books. I missed my extended family, but had my best boys snuggled up with me.

What beautiful pictures Monica. You have a beautiful family.

My grandson and his daddy are living with us right now, and on CHRISTmas morning before we opened gifts his daddy read him the CHRISTmas story. It was a beautiful moment. I'm so glad that he is determined to raise him in the admonition of the LORD.

Have a Blessed evening friend,
Dawn

What sweet pictures!! I love the way your Dad looks at your Mom. You can feel the love...
A memory-Christmas Eve jammies. My older children know they are getting them and yet are still so surprised, excited, happy to get them and I loved seeing them all in matching pajamas that didn't break the bank. I made them from a flannel sheet from Target. Also...this year, I got sick and since my stepdad had a double bypass we couldn't go to my Mom's house for Christmas, we had to stay home. I was, and am, so thankful that God gave me a ham on super sale that our little family could have a Christmas dinner.
