Ladybug Pancakes

My children seem to love pancakes! Any shape, any size, anything! We recently made them for lunch and revisited the delicious piggy pancakes - but also made ladybugs! These were super easy. Make one pancake for the body, a smaller one that is cut in half for the wings and decorate with mini chocolate chips!!

What pancake shapes do you love?

This brought back happy memories, Monica. Our favorites were Mickey Mouse. Your post reminds me to make these for my little granddaughter who will soon be visiting from Alaska.

Cute ladybug pancake!
We have not made very many creative shaped pancakes here. If I am in a chocolatey mood I will add chocolate chips to them (might throw in a little cinnamon).
My husband loves pancakes topped with peanut butter, syrup, bananas, and walnuts. They are sweet...but very tasty that way! :)
Glad I found your sweet blog!
Blessings to you,

My youngest daughter loves little, baby pancakes ... some with a dab of peanut butter, some with a dab of jam and others with a wee bit of butter and syrup ... makes me feel like a short order cook. :)

We have tried heart shapes for Valentines Day and gingerbread men for the holidays. I use a metal cookie cutter in the pan to hold the shape though :)
