Worth 50 Cents!

This cute little bowl is just like one my Mom has and part of the yellow bowl set,
a fun 50 cent find at a recent yard sale!

I have that, and the yellow bowl. :) From my grandmother? Am pretty sure, will have to double-check with my mom. If I remember correctly there was also a medium bowl that met it's death at my hands. Not an easy thing to do but leave it to me....

Very fun and looks great with peaches inside! :) Maybe you will eventually find the other two bowls in the set -- a green one (smaller than the yellow bowl) and a red one (smaller than the green bowl, but bigger than the blue one). Love you, Mom

you now own a vintage Pyrex bowl - but I am warning you, if you aren't careful, you will become a Pyrex addict/collector like me.
Colored pyrex is the best stuff!

my mom has that set and has used it as long as I can remember. It is expensive if you see all 4 pieces at an antique place. Keep searching! It's large yellow, next green then red then your little blue bowl. Good memories.

My mom gave me these too. I have the red one, the blue one and the yellow one, but the green one broke back when I was a child.
Blessings,
Marcia

Oh, that is a great deal!!!!...definitely worth every penny :) :) :) I love finding treasures like tat at yard sales. I don't even try to find things like that..it's more of a happy blessing. I do stop at the yard sales that don't look like much from the street...because that's where I find many hidden treasures...but that's my only real secret for shopping at yard sales. Love the bowl. I'll have to try and find one for myself!!!! Hugs, Heather :) :)

I have that set too! They were my grandmothers and many years ago she gave them to my mom and we used them all the time growing up. Recently my mom gave them to me. I never realized there was supposed to be a green one. It must have gotten broke many, many years ago.
