lovely and cozy---and no bugs, right? My parents had a screened porch when I was growing up (It is now an addition of bathroom and breakfast room) but it had a door to the outside, so we could not keep bugs out. You don't have a door from it to the outside do you? That is a nice way to keep it bug-free.

The table turned out great! I really like the way the red oilcloth pops against the dark color.

I love every detail, especially the flooring!
I always read about you hosting various gatherings, and think, "Why don't I do that?" Perhaps you could spur all of us reluctant entertainers on by setting a date in the future, and walking us, day by day, through the planning and preparation stages. Showing examples of yourself at these various stages would be helpful, too. Just a thought...

You really did such a good job. It must be a real pleasure to sit and enjoy your new space and place. May all the memories made be as beautiful as the setting. As always I am inspired by your talent of creating beauty and up to deciding how I can bless my home in a special way too. Thank you for that. This will need prayerful consideration on my part. I am sure that is how your details turn out so lovely. That you always give your heart plans and desires the Lord. Hugs, Angelia

Those of you who asked about the oil cloth - if you click over to my "before" post and then follow the link to the Farm Chicks post, you'll find several ebay resources for ordering oil cloth. It is from the UK, so a bit more expensive than from the US. BUT, it is great quality!! I still thought it was a good value considering the piece I bought covered my table and three chairs.
