Coloring

Did you see this challenge over at (in)courage? I did not manage to get mine done in time to link up for the prize - but I still enjoyed sitting in my pj's with my littles on Saturday morning coloring with them!

This is the picture I picked out:

Can you guess why? I bet you can - I love everything about this! It's Christmas! Minty (the pony's name) is baking yummy cookies, creating memories, wearing an apron! This just says cozy and homey to me - it is the kind of mom everyone wants - one who bakes cookies and does fun things with them! It says hospitality to me and also shows that someone cares about others.

And, how realistic - there are always sprinkles on the floor at my house too!

Your turn! If you want to, go ahead and find a picture from a coloring book and show it on your blog explaining why you picked it. Otherwise, tell me about what picture you'd like to color and why!

I haven't colored a picture in a long time. Partly because Nathan doesn't really like to color--even tractors!

Does this afternoon work?

I love to color, and did so often when my daughter was younger. Now she prefers to draw, cut and glue! I think a coloring night is in order.
My dad bought my mom a Crayola box of 100 crayons for Christmas. She says that it is really cheap therapy.
My kids always rip the pages out of their coloring books before coloring them. As a child, I kept the book intact and colored the pages in order. I think that says something about personality types...I want to be more like my kids!

I just came across your blog and wanted to drop a comment. I will be adding your blog to my blog reader:

I love this idea. I will have to pull out some coloring books :)

I went through my kids old coloring books and found a picture to color. I posted my Clifford page on my blog.
