Peach Milkshakes!

We were given half of a bushel of yummy peaches recently and I decided to make milkshakes one night. David said this reminded him of a famous peach shake he used to get in college, except this one was better! (how sweet)

Here's what I did:

In blender - scoop about 2 cups of vanilla ice cream. Pour in 1/3-1/2 c. milk. Add one peach: peeled, pit removed and diced. Next add about 3 Tbsp. sugar. Blend until smooth!

Yummy!

Yum! I made some peach milkshakes one night last week, too. I didn't have any ice cream but used ice cubes and milk. It was really good!

I wonder if you could get by with drinking that for breakfast!!! YUMMY!! Not helpful for the diet, though!

I remember drinking a peach milkshake once...years ago. I wonder if it's from the same famous place that your hubby is talking about. It was delicious, and I haven't had one like it since. They even had real bits of peaches in this shake too.

We also recently made peach milkshakes, after sampling one at Chik-Fil-A. We have been buying "seconds" baskets of peaches from our local produce stand every time we drive by. Since they need to be used nearly right away, we have been eating peaches in/on everything. Still can't get enough!
