Restoring Order!

Ok, how did you do? I did about half of what I wanted - where did the week go?

First, I reordered the plastics cabinet - before:

and after:
I made something crafty (directions coming very soon!):

I cleared the dining room table off and have kept it clean for TWO days - surely a record (the sunflowers are awaiting our Family Night!):

Today, I'm hoping to work on the food for David, I did get the ingredients I needed - now I just need the time! Since Mr. Linky is currently not working - leave your link in the comments so we can see what you got done!

Cute craft! :) I wish I could keep our dining room table cleaned off for two days in a row -- good job! :) Love, Mom

I am lovin' the sunflowers!! Cannot wait for the directions!! Oh, that chicken recipe sounds delicious, too!! A clean table for two days-wow!! I clean off my counters, but I think there must be mean little elves that come in the night and junk them back up. Seems like I am okay for a day or two, but the junk won't stay away.
Glad I am not the only one.

What relief to know I'm not the only one who fights the battle of junk on the table! My table is a catch-all for everything. If you're feeling brave, maybe you could post 'before' and 'after' pics. It IS nice to know I'm not the only one!

I LOVE your sunflower craft....so cute! And I love how real you keep your blog. Thanks for encouraging us to keep our homes in order, but not seeming to have it all together yourself!

Super neat Sunflowers! Will look forward to learning how to make them.

Your table is so inviting...bet it was hard to keep it clear. Great job on the discipline it took to keep it like that.

Smiles, Angelia

These sunflowers are adorable! I see others saying they can't wait to learn how to make them...were you going to share how to make the craft? Or did you already and I missed it? I'd be very interested. :o)

Monica,
I like your before and after plastic wares organizing photos. It reminded me I need to do the same, too. I am having a mixed feeling on whether or not I would like my toddler to play with the plastic wares as I let my other three did when they were little. It is fun watching him "discovers new toys" but at the same time I need to remember to wash them before returning to the cabinet. I guess I will give it a trial period to see how much it would bother me this time around before we install the child proof latch. :)
Have a great time visiting your sister!
