Mother's Day

This is very very late - but it was still a cute idea I thought some of you might enjoy! My Mom was here for Mother's Day and I saw this adorable idea via the Crafty Crow. Hers were made into magnets and I didn't have any peel and stick magnets - so came up with this variation instead.

We did all the hand prints - a different color for each child. Then I covered in contact paper and cut out. I put some floral foam in the bottom of a tall yogurt container and covered the outside with scrapbook paper and a ribbon. I cut green stems out and laminated them as well. Then, a little hot glue to add sticks (from yard) to the hand prints and we were all set!

To cover the foam, I stuck some Ghiradelli chocolates in (freebies from Staples)! And, here we are before Church on Mother's Day!

Thank you for this bouquet which is now on top of my refrigerator. :) The chocolates are gone and were quite yummy. :) It was special to spend Mother's Day with you and your sweet family. Love you! Mom
