Tea Bag Place Cards

My friend, Rebecca, planned a neat Heritage Shower for our friend Susan (the bride) ~ each guest was asked to bring a meaningful gift as she began her new married life (I made a prayer journal).

I was asked to make place cards for our tea and found this idea to create tea bag place cards. I scanned in the invitation and printed it out in two different sizes. The larger I cut out of patterned scrapbook paper and the smaller one is velum paper.

A box of the bride's favorite tea was easy to stitch the tags to and I was pleased with how they turned out!

What a cute idea!!

I love so many of the crafts that you do and some of the family events are great ideas that I plan to implement with my family. Thank you for giving me such great reading daily.

P.S. I might have left you a little bloggy award over at my blog. ;)

What a great idea!! I love that... it reminded me (real quickly) of one of my wedding showers. All the guests were to bringalong a teacup and they served teas/coffee and decandent desserts. It was so beautiful. Thanks again for all your inspiration... you're amazing!

How sweet, Monica!

Hey Monica! Sorry about that. You need to be sure to be registered AND signed in. It should always say FREE DOWNLOAD when you click on something. If you click on something that has a price, it is going to want you to pay. Hope that helps! If not, let me know so I can see if the download time has expired (usually it expires on a Sunday, so that should NOT be the case). :)

Also, I wanted to let you know that cute baby doll store you visited while here closed down. :( Not sure all the details, but they are now doing a home delivery service.

I made placecards a lot like this for my daughter's 5th birthday party! We had 3 of her friends over and did a grown-up tea party. The little girls loved it and so did the mamas!
