Family Night: Baseball

This was also before our trip, but I am still catching up on everything! For our Family Night, we headed to one of the local high schools baseball fields! We were able to catch the last part of the girls Varsity softball and most of the boys Varsity baseball games. Our littles had a great time eating at the game and playing!

My hubby is on a city league team this year and we have thought about going...the only thing is the games are kinda late and you get a bit of the beer/party crowd...

I think it would be GREAT fun though...maybe a highschool game would be more family friendly! :-) I love your inexpensive ideas for family nights!! Keep 'em coming!

Monica,

Speaking of littles and baseball, I watched a show last night about a family with 14 children, 13 of whom were boys! This family was VERY into baseball and had their own team. That’s what they would do for a family night. They had a home church also, and their children all had biblical names. I love to watch shows like that where the family is trying to live a Christian life and are teaching their children the same—kinda like you do, Monica ;)

The Duggar Family just blows my mind. The dad is really totally involved, which truly makes it or breaks it if you want to have a large Christian family. If you have never had a chance to watch them, TLC has them on under “18 Kids and Counting” or something similar. I always come away uplifted just even watching their daily goings-on.
