December 7

A fun find at Goodwill ~ an apron I'd had my eye on at Target for a long time and would never pay full price for! $1.99 is much more my kind of price especially since the plastic tags were all still on and it had never been worn!

WOW! What a find! Sometimes I think those amazing deals are God's way of blessing us with the fun, little desires of our hearts! :-)

Monica,

I just went to Goodwill yesterday!
I found some great things too.
I agree with "...they call me mommy",
the Lord really seems to enjoy giving us little surprises. :-)
I'm so happy for you!

The only problem from shopping at Goodwill is it's hard for be to buy anything at full price!
I'm spoiled to paying under four dollars for a shirt.

Keep up the good work!

What a great find. I love it when I go to the local thrift store and find stuff with the store tags on them. I recently needed to buy wash cloths to give away for operation help a vet. We were at the dollar store and found some that were from a local retail store that would have cost me $6 a piece and I got them for a dollar. They were so nice and soft. I love a good bargin.

So wonderful!
I have the matching oven mitts, and every time I use them, I get a little jolt of joy :D

I used to work for Target. They are really big on moving merchandise in and out of there, so they always have new exciting stuff on the shelves. They will only let something sit on clearance for so long. After that point, whatever is left of that item will be sold to someplace like Big Lots, or donated to Goodwill. If you time it right, you can often find brand new Target goods with the tags still on, for pennies on the dollar! I once bought a brand new Isaac Mizrahi duvet that was originally $60 to $80 for $20 at Goodwill.

Oh, and I have that same apron--LOVE it!

Love it! I can't imagine what I would do without thrift stores. My daughter wore an absolutely adorable poodle skirt to church this morning. I bought it for $1.98, but it still had a $43 price tag on it!

I have this apron from Target! I bought it last Fall. It was the last one and without a tag, so the girl at the register charged me $5 (with her supervisor's permission).

I saw these same aprons again this year for $14.99!

LOL ~ I just found this same apron at my Goodwill on Saturday with the tags still on! I paid $2.99 but I was very happy about it. I can hardly wait to wear it.
