Clean Heart: Part Twenty One

Do my goals reflect a clean heart?

What are my goals? I've always wanted to truly be a Proverbs 31 woman, but lately God has been increasing my thinking on this.

My goals:
* to be a Proverbs 31 woman
* to please and glorify God rather than man
* to be a godly wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend
* to use the gifts and talents He has given me for His glory and my enjoyment
* to be involved in ministry
* to take good care of my home and family
* to do what is right

Looking over this list and inside my heart, I can say that right now, my goals do reflect a clean heart. I know that I can say this only because of God's work in me, the way He orders my steps and the fact that these are the goals He has for me.

Thank you for sharing, Monica. For the past few years now, my list of goals has grown quite similar to the one you posted. I thank God that He transforms our hearts and minds to make our desires His desires. He's so gracious to us and patient! I know that my goals are becoming more in line with His Will, but I know I fall so short in achieving them ~ and this is something I'm working on. Proverbs 16:1-3,9 and 20:24 came to mind as I thought about "goals". Thanks again, and have a blessed week Monica!

Monica;

Goals are good meters of where we are and where we want to be. Our Lord shows us His will when, while working on those goals peace abides in our hearts.

Thanks for sharing

Blessings,

Mari

Maybe I had not noticed how much I have fallen away lately. Maybe He brought me here to open my eyes to were I should be and the peace that lies there. You are a dear.
