Family Night: Emily The Ballerina!

Friday night was Emily's first ballet recital! She had sooo much fun and looked precious, of course! We were very pleased that she got out on the stage and did some of her performance! We were also so pleased with her teacher, she chose modest costumes and dances for all types of dance and all ages. This was a great experience for Emily ~ and we were so thrilled that my Mom could be here this weekend to enjoy it with us!!

She look like a natural. I remember my first dance recital quite fondly. As for most things, my teacher had to drag me off the stage. You knew I was destined for theater :)

She is beautiful!

How sweet, the video wouldn't work for me though. I remember how happy I was of my daughter's accomplishment at her first recital ;-)

How cute!! Emily looks adorable! And Samuel is getting big-you must be feeding him well!
Oh, I didn't know if you knew this or not, but in the May/June issue of Victoria they have an article about Jan Karon. I am thinking about getting the Mitford series and letting that be my summer reading.
Have a great week!

Absolutely PRECIOUS! My favorite photo is of Daddy giving her the flowers. (That's not to say, I don't love the ones of Grammie with Samuel & Emily, too! All are special!)

Please give Emily a big hug from Nana & tell her how proud I am of her.

Thanks for the SNFM also.

Lots of love to all, Grandma/Nana

I'm so thankful that I could be there for this special event! Cost of an airline ticket: $XXX Watching Emily perform and hearing her chatter about her friends and her dance, priceless! Love you, Mom
