cultivating the simple pleasures of faith, family and home
Yum! I have always wanted to take my kids strawberry picking, but we either went too early or too late. They are now teenagers, but I still think they would enjoy it. Who doesn't love a fresh, red and sweet strawberry, right?Your girls look like they had a fun time.
Looks like fun. Rachel really enjoyed her strawberries, adorable!
How nice! We still have months to go before strawberry season here but I am looking forward to picking (and eating)them. ~smile~Blessings,Liisa
Such funny pix! Our season is exactly two months later, in June. Can't wait!
Oh how fun! I can remember going with my mom when I was little. That last picture is entirely precious!!!
Aw, how fun!!! Looks like the girls loved it!!! :)
What adorable little berry pickers! Another fun outing! :) Love you, Mom
That last picture with the strawberry stained face and shirt is priceless! :)
soooooooooooooooooo cute! your girls are just the cutest! makes me want to squeeze their little cheeks!!
Mmmm...we have to wait until June for ours strawberry patches to be ready. Once we took a little friend with us pickin'. It was his first time and he ate everything he picked. I told the woman at the produce stand that she would have to weigh his belly, not his basket!Your li'l ones will have such fond memories of these traditions you are creating!Angie
That is too cute! I am looking forward to taking the kids out picking soon!
Oh, it looks fun... your girls are so cute! I can't wait for berry season here!
Strawberries ~ yummy! Our strawberries aren't ready to pick for quite a while up here...what a treat that would be this time of year! :-) That must've been lots of fun.
There's nothing I like better than forgetting about the laundry and letting kids have a good time getting messy eating something they love. And it's healthy into the bargain!
Their matching buckets are so cute. And look at the strawberry stains up on her eyebrows!
Those pictures are wonderful, especially the last one of the stained face :) Love it!It will be awhile before we can pick over here!
How fun!! I cannot wait until the blueberries are ready around here. There are no strawberry farms close by. :( Monica, I love the photos you posted last year (or maybe the year before) of you and Rachel picking straberries. The close-up photo of her taking a big chomp out of a strawberry was PRICELESS! I love "simple" things in life...So sweet! Thank you for sharing.:)Andrea L.
Love strawberrys! Send some to the South West! I'll send you some green chilli!!
How adorable...especially the last picture of Rachel. Looks like she really enjoyed her strawberries!Fun times!Love, Grandma
We are about to go strawberry picking ourselves. I cannot wait to make some more strawberry jam-it did not last long around here-must make extra this year!! Lilly actually made it into the local paper last year. My aunt said she saw a familiar looking little girl and realized she was mine-she had never seen Lilly before-she just looks a lot like her momma at that age!!Elise
