Spring Clean: Wrap Up

Wow! Another great season of Spring Cleaning is just finishing up! 45 of you participated and together cleaned more than 120 rooms or areas! That is GREAT!

My Spring Cleaning went about the worst this year that it ever has - and I am strangely fine with that. I did get the main areas that needed to be done - but it is humbling to host something like this and then not even finish my own.

I came to the computer this morning fully intending to give an extra bonus prize to the one gal who did the most Spring Cleaning. However, when I did the random drawing - she won that! So, I am even more excited about that!

Rachel was such an encouragement to me as I watched her Spring Cleaning unfold. She worked hard and she FINISHED every room in her house (excluding the basement). I was very impressed with her diligence and perseverance and I am humbled by the effort and energy she put into cleaning her home. There is no doubt in my mind that her diligence is a blessing to her family as they are able to enjoy a clean home! Plus, I love that she lives in one of my favorite places!

Congratulations, Rachel - please send me an e-mail with your mailing info so I can send you a box of goodies for all of your hard work!

And, now a big thank you to EVERYONE who cleaned even one little spot in their home. Not because it helps me - but because it is a blessing to your families! It is such an encouragement to do this kind of thing together and I'm grateful that so many of you joined in!

Today, let's enjoy our homes and those who share it with us!

Congratulations Rachel!!! How fun. =)

And Monica, I've only begun my spring cleaning. I only accomplished a few things I had planned on, so Spring Cleaning continues into April for us! LOL

hugs,
Jenn

Thanks so much, Monica! This event has been great motivation to get some things done at my house. And I loved seeing everyone's progress, too. I love those before and after shots!

Great job Rachel! You did a great job!!!

I ended up starting my spring cleaning really late as I got the flu and then a pinched nerve in my back. So I started my spring cleaning last weekend but instead of taking it slow and steady, I spend one entire day (5am-9pm) washing, scrubbing, dusting, moving furniture and the such only to pull by back out! I still have to shampoo the rugs but then I will be done! Good thing it only happens once a year!!

"one little spot..."

Well, that's me, the One Little Spot girl. Actually, it was *two* little spots, but who's counting?!

Congrats to Rachel!

Rachel, you did great!

Monica,

Just wanted to Thank you for the wonderful time I had cleaning my home with so many other women. Seems that I was unable to do at much as others. But none the less was pleased with what I was able to do. I will continue on my own to wrap up the Spring clean at our house. With 5 busy children I fine my time is limited and has to be planned out to get done the things that I desire to get done. Love how inspiring your blog is.
