Bloom Swap!

I'm so excited to show you what my wonderful swap partner, Angie, sent me for the Bloom swap!

I mentioned that my colors for Spring this year were robin's egg blue, brown and black/white toile. She did a fabulous job going with those colors -

Everything was packed in this pretty box, see the cute Bloom letters?!
When I opened the lid, I saw this - isn't that creative to use a piece of fabric to wrap around everything!
Very pretty notecards, she made!Look at this cute Post-It holder:
I love this "family" key ring - I envision putting pictures of my family to keep handy in my purse or with my keys! She had wrapped everything with cute colored tags (paint samples in coordinating colors!) and used Scripture verses on lots of items. She really put a lot of effort into this box! Here you can see an egg shaped dish, robin egg gumballs (for use in decorating!), and candles! Some fun new sponges (I needed some!) with a verse about having a clean heart, baby lotion for Samuel, Bath and Body Works lotion for me, Aloe infused pink socks, some sprinkles for Ice Cream Sunday's (wow - you really pay attention, Angie! Emily has tried to claim these sprinkles for herself already!), and a spiral pad of fun colored papers! Some cute stickers for Emily and Rachel, and some for Mama! And, these great plant markers which I've been wanting to get some of!Look at this fabulous clip board! I think this may have been my favorite thing - I love it!
And, this cute pad of paper was on it - very fun! Angie, thank you - you put together a very fun box and went above and beyond in pouring yourself and your creativity into it.
Now, for what I sent to her! Her spring colors this year were cream, sage green and red. So, I went with that and re-did this birdcage I found thrifting about a year ago. I spray painted it, put a piece of toile wallpaper in the bottom. Painted a small pot and put the flowers in it. Then I ran a sage ribbon through the wires and tied a bow in front:Notecards:I made her a purse and Kleenex holder, wasn't this pretty fabric!?Also included were some seeds, a felt pouch that Carrie and I made while she was here, a lip gloss and some felt flowers to help her decorate a tree in her home for Spring! Thanks, Angie - for making this a fun swap!

It is like Christmas all over again for the two of you. Those are all fantastic spring gifts. You both are very talented individuals. I can't imagine the time you put into each of those spring packages. I would love to participate in something like that, but know better because I have absolutely no craft skills. My sister won't even let me cut pictures when scrapbooking because she says I don't cut straight. LOL!
