Rest, Rest, Rest

Well - it's official - I am now on bed rest for the next week. I went for my dr. appt. yesterday afternoon and had dilated more and progressed more (even resting a lot already) so they sent me to the hospital for more medication and monitoring. I was able to go home after just a couple of hours, with an increased dosage on my meds and bed rest.

I have written a few posts ahead, so may pop in to post now and then when I need to stretch my legs.

Meanwhile, I will be enjoying my free two-week trial of Netflix, doing lots of reading, and undoubtedly coming up with lots more ideas to blog about! Thanks for all of the great comments yesterday on "in between" decorating ideas - there were some great ideas shared and I'm excited to come up with something for our table once I'm up and about next week!

Netflix is lifesaver for times like these! When Chad was sick two summers ago we ordered tv series we always wanted to see...it was really fun!

Praying for you, Monica, and wishing you and the baby the best!

We are thinking of your family. Enjoy some R&R before the baby comes (as much as you can with two other little ones!) We are praying for your family and hope the delivery goes really smoothly!

Monica,

I'll be praying for you! Use this special time to BE STILL and know God! He's blessed you with this time, even though it may seem frustrating.

I received the book yesterday and will be posting about it before the week is up. Thank you so much! I just read the acknowledgements & introduction & I'm already hooked!

You are a blessing!

I was on best rest for nearly a month with my third baby and it's tough. There are so many things you want to get done before a new baby comes to your house, but your health and the baby's are your top priorities.

Surround yourself with lots of good books, movies and little projects that you can do while in bed for the next week.

That's what got me through.

Lots of luck to you.

I am praying for you and that baby, you enjoy all the rest! You know once he arrives you won't get much rest so savor it. Good for being prepared with meals, thats going to help you so much!

Take care of yourself, Monica! Ugh to bedrest but YAY to relaxation! (Though they don't really always go hand-in-hand, huh? LOL!) I was on BR when I was pregnant (at the end for pre-eclampsia). Lots of prayers for smooth sailing from here on out...rest up and take care, mama!

I'm sorry things didn't slow down on their own... but I'm encouraged that God helps me slow down when He knows I need to... and then he takes care of everything else! He will take care of everything!

Monica,
I will be praying for you and your girls during this time. I wish I were closer so I could clean your toilets! Yes, I am crazy, but I think cleaning others' toilets is my gift. Take care of yourself.
