Christmas Fun: Week One

Here is what we did for our first week of Christmas Fun together!

December 1: Mama and Daddy were sick, so we all watched Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and listened to Christmas music!

December 2: Attended a live nativity!

December 3: Celebrated the first week of Advent by lighting the Hope Candle:

December 4: Did a Christmas Craft:

December 5: Had a Christmas Treat!

December 6: I attempted in vain to make a Christmas Tree shape on our pizza; then we got in our jammies and watched Polar Express while Daddy had to work late.

Anybody else been up to Christmas-y things this week?

Wonderful pix, Monica! My favorite is Emily crafting with the tree twinkling in the background.

I plan to bake Christmas cookies early next week--yum, can't wait!

The pizaa inspires me to do Christmas rice crispie treats. I bet either coloring it green or finding green marshmallows, then cutting the shapes after they've hardened a bit. Super cute!!

Love the photos! Hope you are feeling better.

We enjoyed watching the old movie "White Christmas" last weekend. I think we're going to watch "Polar Express" tonight -- we haven't seen it!

Love you, Mom

How fun!!! :) Christmas music and christmas shopping are the only major christmas things we have done other than getting and decorating our tree. With hubby working late every night and me having all three munchkins (or should i say, monkeys)...i barely have enough energy to think! LOL But i would like to celebrate the holidays with my kids some more! Thanks for all the neat ideas! Love your creativity! :)

This week we put up our live, potted, childproof Christmas tree and our nativity set. Also we've been listening to lots of Christmas music! And I wrapped some gifts yesterday.

We put up two trees, one real and one fake, started our Jesse Tree, watched Tom and Jerry Nutcracker, and tonight its our cartoon fest which I will blog about soon. I have to tell you my kids love webkins and I did a birthday party for my son last weekend themed webkinz. I learned so much from you with your themes, I really tried to think like you would have. It was a huge sucess.! If you want to check it out stop by the blog to see!

We're getting there...we put up the tree on Sunday (Dec 2), went to the Christmas parade Tuesday (Dec 4) and last night (Dec 6) we decorated the breakfast nook. Loved that pizza ;)

I have to say you gave me a wonderful idea -- we have decided to create the "Christmas in a jar daily activities" you posted about and it's been a WONDERFUL family tradition to start with my family!!We've picked a new one out each day, and we're excited for each new activity. It's great to see your activities and compare ours!
