Giving Thanks: Christmas

I love Christmas! I am so thankful for the season - first of all for what it represents to us: the birth of Jesus Christ! I love how cozy the season is, the traditions and the opportunity to think of others.

Let's hear your "C" thankful ideas!

Great Thankful! I'm thankful for my children...they have been a source of great encouragement, a lesson in patience, and an absolute joy to watch grow and mature.

I am thankful for Christmas, too - but my "C" thankful would have to be my precious Cade. A miracle, literally - and such a precious boy.

This is really shallow... but I"m thankful for CHOCOLATE.... a comforting friend who has gotten me through many a rough day...
thank you Lord for CHOCOLATE...

Children- They brighten my day and remind me so much there is more in the world then me! They challange me and love me unconditionally. They appreciate the smallest things in life like bugs and hugs! I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world!

Ahem,

What about being thankful for your sister, Carrie?! =)

Yes, we are such Christmas girls. Loved seeing the pix you shared!

I am thankful for Christmas as well. And chocolate :)
By the way, where did you get those little candle holders that fit inside the mason jars?
Hope you're having a good day!
God bless :)

Carrie - the candle holders are small glass flower pots. They have them at Michael's and sometimes at Wal-Mart. They are sometimes on sale at Michael's for 3/$1!

I'm thankful for Christ and what He did on the Cross for me! I'm also thankful for our sweet Claudia! Thanks so much for encouraging us to think about these things! We just recently started working on not complaining in our house by putting on being thankful! This idea is a practical thing we can do with our children and they love it! :)

I'm thankful for Christ and the Cross. Without those two things I would have nothing.

I'm thankful for my 5 beautiful children. And of course, who wouldn't be thankful for chocolate.

Copious quantities of chocolate.

Monica:

My list of thankful C's is much too long to include, but of course at the top of my list is the CROSS and the Christ who loved me enough to die for me.
Of course, children, Carrie, Christmas, computers & chocolate to name just a few.

Just wanted you to know that your idea of being thankful for things as we go down the alphabet, provided food for thought as my friends and I travelled to a Women's Conference this weekend.
We got through the whole alphabet before we got half-way there!

Thanks for spurring us on!

Love you, Grandma

Of course, tops on my "C" list is Carrie!

Others we have written on our C list are:

comfort
clean house
Christmas
crockpot
coca cola :)

Love you, Mom

Oh certainly Number 1 would be Christ - where would we be without His love?

Companionship - I am so blessed to be with the man that I love. Our children have left the nest and are making their own homes now, so I am so happy that my DH and I thoroughly enjoy being together.

My happy silly thankfuls? Coffee and Chocolate - they make me smile! :)

I'm thankful for our creator! It amazes me that the creator of our world longs to have a relationship with me, and for that I am grateful!!

I am also thankful for my children, they are all such a blessing to both my husband and I.
