Psalm 37

Today, I'm praying Psalm 37 for each of you:

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You for each one who reads these words today -

Help each one of us, Lord, not to fret because of those around us who do wrong. I know that they will not win, but You will and teach us to be focused on YOU! Enable each of us not to envy these around us who do not do the right thing, for so often their temporal lives seem so much easier than our own. We know that our reward is coming when we get to spend eternity with You!

Lord, I pray that each on would place her trust in You and know that You are the One who walks with us and keeps us safely in Your care. Lord, enable us to delight ourselves in You knowing that when we do - the desires of our hearts will be Your desires for us and will be brought about.

Lord, we commit our way to You and we trust that You will make us righteous and allow that righteousness to shine out of our lives to all we come into contact with today.

Lord, cause us today, to be still before You - knowing that You are God and You are Sovereign. Let us find that waiting patiently on You is a joy to our souls.

Every time we fret today, remind us to turn it over to You knowing that You are capable of handling anything that comes our way. Keep us from becoming angry and reacting in a way that is not pleasing to You and not honoring of the way we represent Your Name.

Thank You that You have given us hope and that You are worthy of our trust and faith. We are excited to know that You will give those who love You great peace and a beautiful inheritance and we long to desire that more and more.

I do pray for Your protection over us from any evil surrounding us today, Lord. You are powerful beyond any earthly evil and we trust You to keep us in the shadow of Your wing and under Your precious care. We want to be among those who experience Your blessings and not curses. We must choose You and follow You for this to be true in our lives. Make it so, Lord.

Allow us to be generous, to turn from evil and to choose to do good. Place words of wisdom on our tongues and Your law on our hearts.

We take our refuge in You trusting You to bring us safely to our eternal inheritance and reward with You. Thank You, for the precious and beautiful promises in Your Word.

We love You,
Amen.

THank you. You have no idea! THis is the exact psalm I've been praying for my parents and family as we are going through an extremely difficult trial. For the past 4 weeks actually.

You don't know how much I needed that right this minute. Thank you for praying that over us today. And thank you, Lord, for who You are!
