Works For Me!

This week, I'll share a favorite of mine ~ making notecards! I have posted about this before, but will give specific details in this post. I have figured out how to make these cards, including envelope, for 0.02 each! Generally, I make all of my own cards including Christmas, Birthday, etc... And, they make great gifts! I had to list these in multiple posts to keep the photos going, so keep reading! Here goes:

Collect supplies: glue stick, scissors, paper cutter (optional), magazines or catalogs, cardstock, an envelope or template, Sharpie marker.

Cut paper in half using a paper cutter or scissors. The paper is from Michaels (linked above) and is regularly $3.99 for a package of 50 sheets. However, they often have it on sale for $1.99 each which makes it a great deal!

Fold each half in half again and crease firmly.

Find a photo you like in a magazine or catalog. Most of us have extra magazines and catalogs sitting around, but if you don't have any - maybe you have a friend who does. Another source is yard sales and libraries. Also, free catalogs often have great photos and pages in them that you can use. Some great catalogs are Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, and Pottery Barn Kids. Cut out the photo.
